You might pass three Musinsa signs in Myeongdong (명동). Being confused is normal: it's one company, but the stores sell different things.
- Musinsa Standard is Musinsa's own label: basics like tees, shirts, slacks and outerwear. Myeongdong has two. Myeongdong (90 Namdaemun-ro, floors 1–3, daily 11:00–21:00) takes the tax off at checkout when you show your passport. Myeongdong Jungang (opened September 8, 2026, 40 Myeongdong 8-gil, floors 1–4) adds home and beauty plus a custom T-shirt service with Seoul graphics.
- Musinsa Store Myeongdong is the multi-brand shop: 110+ brands, over 80% of them Korean. It's at 13 Myeongdong-gil, basement to 3F, daily 11:00–23:00, and the whole basement is bags and caps.

What is Musinsa Standard, and what do you buy there?
Musinsa Standard began in 2017 as the private label of Musinsa, Korea's biggest online fashion platform. One label fills the whole store, so sizing is consistent and it's easy to buy the same piece in another color. The Myeongdong branch is a tourist favorite: about 55% of its 2025 sales came from international customers. The Myeongdong Jungang branch, opened in September 2026, puts men's and women's clothing next to home and beauty goods, and it is the first Standard store with a custom T-shirt service using Seoul- and Korea-themed graphics.
What is Musinsa Store, and how is it different?
Musinsa Store Myeongdong (opened January 30, 2026) is the app's multi-brand curation turned into a physical shop. More than 110 brands are split into footwear, "young" and "girls" zones, and over 80% of them are Korean. The entire basement is a bag-and-cap floor. Each tag carries a QR code that opens the Musinsa app with stock and pricing. One catch for visitors: buying through the Korean Musinsa app requires ID verification with a Korean phone number in your own name, and Musinsa Global, which signs up by email, carries a different catalog. We couldn't confirm whether a visitor account unlocks the in-store member price, so treat it as a bonus if it works. Prices also vary brand by brand, so don't expect the uniform value pricing of Standard.
Can you do both in one trip?
Yes. All three stores are within Myeongdong, walkable from one another. Every item has a tag with a QR code that opens the app, and as a member I saw the member-only discount right away. At Musinsa Store Myeongdong, the adidas section toward the back of the first floor surprised me: iconic styles you rarely see in a regular adidas sports store. Guard your wallet; I nearly overspent. The store feels a little cramped, and not everything in the app is actually on the shelves.
