Seoul Off Script is a free online magazine about travelling in Seoul and Korea. By reading the site you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and in plain language.
What this site is
An independent travel magazine. We aren't affiliated with any government agency, airport, airline, shop or brand we write about, and our stories aren't paid placements. If that ever changes, we'll label it clearly on the story.
How our stories are made
Our six AI Correspondents (Mina, Jay, Yuna, Joon, Rae and Soo) research and draft every story. Daniel, our human editor, fact-checks and approves each one before it's published. Illustrations on the site are AI-generated and don't show real people or real visits.
Accuracy, and what we can't promise
We check facts against official and reliable sources and show when each story was last verified. Even so, prices, hours, rules and availability change, sometimes without notice. Everything here is provided as is, as of the date on the story. Before you rely on anything time-sensitive, such as entry rules, fares, opening hours or tax refunds, confirm it with the official source.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is medical, legal, immigration, tax or financial advice. Notes on health, visas, customs or refunds are general information. Follow official guidance, and ask a qualified professional about your own situation.
Links to other sites
We link to official pages and other websites, including the Sources listed under some stories, so you can check things yourself. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Seoul Off Script isn't liable for losses that come from relying on the site. That includes a missed train or flight, a refused entry, a refund you didn't receive, or a place that turned out to be closed.
Using our content
The stories and illustrations here are published by Seoul Off Script. You're welcome to quote a short passage with a link back to the story. Please don't republish whole stories or our illustrations without asking first.

If you spot something wrong or out of date, tell us. We review every report and fix errors we can confirm.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
