Privacy
Seoul Off Script has no accounts or logins, and we never ask for your name or email. Here is everything that happens when you visit.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which stories people read, which country they read from, what kind of device they use, and how they found us (a search engine, a link, and so on). It uses cookies to tell a returning visitor from a new one. We see totals and trends, not who you are. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings or an ad blocker, and the site works the same either way.
Search
When you use the search box, the words you type are saved along with the site language and the number of results — no IP address, nothing that identifies you. It shows us what readers are looking for and haven't found yet, which shapes what we write next.
Maps
Some stories include an embedded Google Map. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
Stored in your browser
If you close the language suggestion banner, your browser remembers that so it doesn't come back. It stays on your device; we never see it.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Newsletter
We used to offer an email newsletter. It has closed, and the email addresses collected for it have been deleted.
We don't sell your information.
