The subway is fast. With a stroller, the fastest line is not always the easiest journey. A transfer can add two elevator hunts and a long walk inside a station. Start with the child and the luggage you actually have, then choose the vehicle.

Seoul's station accessibility inventory is useful for planning. Look up the starting station, every transfer and the arrival station. An elevator somewhere in the station may still leave you on the wrong side of the street. Check live notices before you travel; the inventory does not confirm that a particular lift is working today. Many Seoul subway stations have lifts, and families with small children should feel comfortable using them alongside older and disabled passengers. Check that the lift serves the exit you need and is operating that day.
How do you arrange a taxi when your child needs a seat?
Do not assume a taxi hailed on the street will have a child seat. When contacting a bookable vehicle operator, give the child's age, the seat you need, the folded stroller dimensions and the number of suitcases. Ask the operator to confirm the seat and luggage space before you reserve. If they cannot confirm it, keep looking. Seoul's Parents Taxi programme is a resident support scheme, not a tourist taxi pass.

What does a workable family day look like?
Put one main destination on the calendar. Children's Grand Park (서울어린이대공원) and Seoul Children's Museum (서울상상나라) can make a simple area-based day, but the park and museum do not share one operating schedule. Check the museum's official booking and closure information for your date before building the day around it. Pack a small bag that stays with you if the stroller needs folding. Identify a sensible vehicle pickup point near the last stop. Neither detail is exciting. Both matter more at 5 p.m. than an extra attraction does.
